Working principle of sand filter tank

1、 The filter uses a special filter to remove small dirt from the pool. The value of sand as a clear pollutant.

2、 The pool water containing suspended particulate matter is pumped into the filtration pipeline. Tiny dirt is collected and filtered out by the sand bed. The filtered clean water is returned to the swimming pool through a pipeline through a control switch at the bottom of the filter.

3、 This set of programs is continuously automatic and provides a complete loop process for the swimming pool filtration and pipeline system. Further evolution of the pool water. The filtration of the sand cylinder is achieved through membrane filtration, infiltration filtration, and amount removal filtration processes.

4、 It has excellent wear resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and tough hardness. It can filter out higher quality water with a larger filtration capacity. The turbidity and pollution index of filtered water will decrease as the storage capacity of the filter increases.

Routine maintenance of the sand filter

1. The sand filter in the swimming pool should be used normally, and the circulation system should also be used normally. Some swimming pools do not attach much importance to this, and the circulation system is left unused as a decoration, which is not opened once every six months or a year. This is not only irresponsible for water quality, but also detrimental to the circulation system. If left idle for too long, it can cause problems in various components.

2. Regular inspection, which means regularly checking whether the lower circulation system can function normally, whether there are water leaks, sand leaks, or other problems, and whether the components are aging or malfunctioning. If there are any, they should be repaired in a timely manner.

3. Regularly clean the filtration system. If it is used for a long time, many impurities, grease, and other pollutants will accumulate in the sand cylinder and pipeline. These things accumulate and become stuck inside, which can affect the filtering effect of the system and even make the water quality worse. Therefore, in addition to regular backwashing, decontamination and cleaning should also be carried out every six months or one year. These stubborn stains need to be cleaned using professional cleaning agents and methods. Use sand cylinder cleaning agent to fill the sand cylinder with water, pour it into the sand cylinder cleaning agent and soak it for about 24 hours before backwashing.

4. Regularly replace quartz sand. quartz sand filtration is the most important step for water purification. Quartz sand is very important. These sands have a relatively long service life and can be used for several years under normal maintenance. However, it is generally necessary to replace quartz sand at least once every 3 years. Due to long-term work, the adsorption capacity of sand to dust will be weakened, and a large amount of adsorption of oil and impurities will lead to sand caking in a large area, reducing or even losing the filtering effect. Therefore, quartz sand must be replaced every three years.
